PRE & POST NATAL EXERCISE

I am fully qualified to design and deliver safe, effective and appropriate exercise programmes for pre and post-natal clients. 

Exercising during and post-pregnancy has many amazing benefits; however, as a mum myself, I recognise that exercise during this time can be understandably anxiety provoking and practically challenging without the right support and expertise.

To reduce any barriers to exercise or childcare needs during the post-natal period, you are welcome and encouraged to bring your baby with you to any sessions.

NUTRITION FOR HEALTH & PERFORMANCE

Certified through the Association for Nutrition (AfN), I adopt an anti-diet culture approach to nutrition advice, support and guidance.

​

Exercise is only one piece of the puzzle, and if left unaddressed, poor nutrition will remain a barrier between yourself and your goals. I work alongside my clients to understand their eating patterns and dietary beliefs, in order to provide evidence-based nutrition education to support achievement of goals and create sustainable healthy eating habits.

Particular areas of expertise and interest include:

- Nutrition for fat loss

- Nutrition for increased lean muscle mass

- Energy requirements for optimal health and performance

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING

I have a strong interest and vast experience in functional training, both within my Personal Training sessions and as an F45 Coach, Head Trainer & Studio Manager at F45 Chelsea, London.

Functional training incorporates compound exercises which replicate day-to-day movements, allowing you to strengthen muscles required to carry out everyday tasks, enhance range of motion and improve coordination.

​

Functional strength training is crucial for long-term health & wellbeing, especially for women as we begin to lose bone density from our late 20's, and so forms the cornerstone of my training programmes.

MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING

After completing my Psychology degree in 2011, I began my career in the charity sector supporting individuals with mental health and addiction issues.

In 2019, my passion for promoting holistic health and wellbeing led me to live out my dream as a fitness coach and Personal Trainer, where I support women to use exercise as a way to achieve balance in their life.

 

Using a holistic health-first approach, I support my clients to become fitter, healthier and happier versions of themselves.
